Check in around 1130AM. Had to wait until 200PM. Waited at the bar…margarita, trussel fries which were very good. Room upgrade with a view of ocean from room 9009. Dinner at sushi place next door at the Royal Hawaiian Center. Butterfish, miso eggplant, garlic steak. Cancelled a 7AM bike tour. Realized I will not be riding my bike. The rental would probably given problems. Great decision!!!
Jan 4 Got up 300AM to offset jet lag. Left elbow very sore. Utilize $50 credit on Royal Hawaiian Latte…Portuguese sausage croissant…excellent. Edwina explains why she doesn’t lay out on the beach. She gets too dark and not in her DNA. Banana muffin..custard croissant. yummy food to start off the day.
Met with Patricia Brown. Lunch at Suntory. $500 lunch. Wagu filet…very tender….garlic fried rice…$8 cold saki….excellent meal. Went back to room. Talked with Ben. Manangs not mentioned in parks. Sakada used 1934. Plantation workers 1906 – 2016…when sugar plantations closed. Dinner….sauteed Mahi Mahi..Chi Chi. Excellent Day
Jan 5 7AM Mass at St Agustine’s. Buffet breakfast at Moana Surfrider. Excellent. Fresh fruit…papaya juice, 3 eggs over easy…Island fried rice…smoked bacon…ate like a kid again. Dinner at Asagio’s. Fried fish scampi.
Jan 6 up at 3AM. packed. last walk. fresh papaya smooth with Creatine and Hemp Protein. Watching Ravens vs Steelers while hard boiled eggs being cooked.

Now riding with new shoes…new tires…new tuneup. The ride went very well. Felt like I was riding a new bike. Leg muscles a bit tired. I think I solved my left knee problem. I’ve been stretching the tibialis muscles in both legs. When walking, I am making concisous effort to walk upright…ie really paying attention to my posture. Going in tomorrow to have RAV 4 checked after getting sideswiped after stretchlab last Monday. Edwina in Hawaii since Saturday. I really miss her. Trixie getting bigger and stronger. Went to SCAPA showcase last Sunday. A whole lotta young kids. The elders are dwindling in numbers. Will outline strategy for the 20th anniversary of PCC at FANHS-HR meeting at 2PM. Life is grand. Thank you Lord….
